Corrections, Retractions, and Removal of Published Content
Corrections, Retractions, and Removal of Content
Should there be any suspicion of misconduct or fraudulent activity, the journal and/or its publisher will conduct an investigation in line with COPE's guidelines. Upon uncovering valid issues, authors will be notified through their provided email addresses to offer a response. Based on the findings, several actions might be taken:
- Manuscripts under review may be rejected and sent back to the authors.
- For published articles, the nature of the violation may warrant the addition of an erratum or correction.
- An editorial note expressing concern might be attached to the article.
- In cases of significant misconduct, the article may be retracted.
The specific reasons for these actions will be detailed in the respective correction, editorial note, concern, or retraction notice. A retracted article will be clearly marked as "retracted," and the reason for retraction will be made accessible alongside the article.
Removal of Published Content
Under certain conditions, we reserves the right to remove articles or content from its digital platforms:
- If there is evidence that the content infringes on the intellectual property, privacy rights, or any other legal rights of a third party, or is in any other way illegal.
- Following a legal mandate or government directive to eliminate the content.
- Discovery of a conflict of interest or unethical behavior by the author(s) during an investigation.
- If the content poses an immediate and grave health risk if acted upon.
In such instances, the removal of the content might be permanent. However, bibliographic details will be retained, accompanied by an explanation for the content's removal.
