Editors and Editorial Staff as Authors

Editorial personnel or editors submitting their own works to the journal are excluded from the review and decision-making processes for their submissions. In such cases, decisions will be undertaken by other members of the Editorial Board who do not share any conflict of interest with the submitting editor or staff member. This ensures an unbiased and fair review process, preventing any potential conflicts of interest from influencing the handling of the submission.

Conflict of Interests Disclosure

It is mandatory for all authors to openly declare any associations or interests that could potentially influence or bias their work. This encompasses both financial interests—such as employment, consultancies, stock or share ownership, honoraria, grants, paid expert testimony, patents, or licensing deals—as well as non-financial interests like personal or professional relationships, affiliations, or deeply held beliefs. Authors are instructed to disclose potential conflicts of interest via the journal's online submission system. The corresponding author is responsible for including a comprehensive conflict of interest statement prior to the references section of the manuscript. This statement should cover any and all potential conflicts of interest.

In instances where no conflict of interest exists, authors should include the following declaration: "Conflicts of Interest: The authors declare no conflicts of interest."
